IB Program
International Baccalaureate

IB students, through their experience in a rigorous and balanced program, develop their critical thinking, communication and study skills, as well as their ability to adapt and contribute to college life.

They will develop the knowledge and motivation necessary to succeed not only in college, but in life beyond high school. IB provides them with the skills necessary to confidently face and overcome today's challenges.

International Baccalaureate (IB) Middle Years Programme (MYP)

The International Baccalaureate Middle Years Programme is a framework that supports students in grade 6-10 in developing their knowledge and skills to positively impact their communities and become internationally-minded individuals.

This programme encourages the students to make practical connections between their studies and the real world, preparing them for success in further study and in life.

Students participating in Middle Years Programme (MYP):

  • Become more confident in managing their own learning
  • Learn by doing and connect the class to the rest of the world
  • Outperform non-IB students in key academic skills
  • Consistently perform better on IB Diploma Programme exams
  • Develop their potential in positive school cultures in which they actively participate and are motivated to excel
  • Develop an understanding of global challenges and a commitment to act as responsible citizens

“Why the MYP you may ask? The MYP aims to create active learners and globally minded individuals who can empathize with others and pursue lives of purpose. The MYP is student centered and empowers students to take control of their own learning and future goals.”

“One of the things I love the most about the IBDP Program is its focus on the holistic development of the student, alongside its rigorous academic requirements. The program aims to develop caring and balanced lifelong learners, as well as globally minded individuals who want to give back to their community. The program achieves this by helping the students develop the knowledge, tools and skills they need to be successful, not only in the IBDP Program, but in university and beyond.”
