Candelilla Club is coming to Lincoln School

14/01/2020

Candelilla Club is coming to Lincoln to offer all our community 3 great opportunities to participate in storytelling. We’re looking for volunteers to participate in a series of workshops that will result in a storytelling evening in benefit of our Founders Scholarship Fund.

HEAR ALL ABOUT IT!

Our very own Katia Alfaro and Daniella Musmanni sat down with Anastasia Mora, Founder of Candelilla Club, to talk about storytelling, the beginnings of Candelilla Club and the upcoming events at Lincoln.

Here’s the information about all upcoming events:

Why Storytelling?

We want our students to be able to look at their surroundings, understand the challenges faced by members of different communities and find solutions using an entrepreneurial mindset. Storytelling allows us to experience one part of someone’s life with them and through their point of view. It can also inspire us to take risks and share our experiences without fear of failure. Storytelling taps into our empathy, and in turn, empathy inspires us to act.

What is Candelilla Club?

Candelilla Club is a Costa Rican storytelling movement started by Anastasia Mora. It offers people a space to share their stories with others. Find out more on their Facebook page or on the news!
